THE BULLPEN

Rounding third and heading for home! Your Pittsburgh Pirates wrap up their series today against the Texas Strangers. These are your keys to today's game. 1)NL MVP candidate Andrew "Clutch" McCutchen has a 9-game hitting streak. In last night's 5-4 victory, Clutch had 3 hits and 3 RBIs. That's good wood! 2)The Strangers start RH Matt Garza, 9-4 with a 3.70 ERA. Garza is 3-3 with a 4.31 ERA since joining the Strangers. They are 5-0 at home when he takes the mound. The Pirates are looking for a Texas-sized sweep this afternoon. Somethings got to give. Break out the brooms with plenty of Hit, Run, & Score! 3)The Strangers have the most come-from-behind wins in the Majors this season. The Pirates have the NL's best interleague record at 14-5. Make that 15-5! Woop, woop, woop! Standings Alert: St Louie also won last night so the Pirates keep pace and are still 1 game back in the NL Central. Cincy dropped one to the Scrubs to fall 3 games out of first place, 2 in back of the Pirates. The Pirates go for 3 in a row. If it's 3, it's for me! Let's Go Bucs!!!!!
