SLAP SHOTS

Get in the fastlane Grandma, the bingo game is ready to roll 'cause it's a great day for playoff hockey! Your Pittsburgh Penguins faceoff against the New York Strangers tonight at MSG for game one of their first-round playoff series. These are your keys for tonight's game. 1)Sure, the Pens didn't look their best down the stretch. But this is for all the marbles, the Stanley Cup playoffs. Take the Strangers and their fans out of it early. Dictate the tempo of the game and knock them off their's. Score early, score often, score BIG! 2)The Strangers captured the President's Trophy for scoring the most points in the NHL. They're heavy favorites in this series. The underdog role is new to the Pens. In spring's past, the Pens have gone into the playoffs as the favorite, only to suffer defeat at the hands of the underdogs. No pressure here. Play fast, play loose, play to win! 3)Strangers G Henrik Lundqvist helped stone the Pens last year in the playoffs to knock them out. Pack up the Motley Crue and the Goals, Goals, Goals, we're coming for you King Henrik! Let's Go Pens!!!
