In the last 8 games, our Buccos have only managed to score 8 runs while losing 7 of those 8 contests. They've dropped 5 in a row. Manager Clint Hurdle has tried shaking up the lineup but nothing seems to work. If anyone has seen the Pirates offense, please, please, please return it to PNC Park as soon as possible. Post a sign out in front of the ballpark that says "Help wanted. Must be able to Hit, Run & Score"! 2)Here it is, May 7. The Pirates are 0 for May and 0 for Cincy, having lost every game this month and every game they've played against the Reds. Mrs. Black-N-Gold is at her wit's end. This team sorely lacks the resilience and tenacity to come from behind. What the Buccos need to do is keep that Hamilton kid off the basepaths and don't let them get a lead so Chapman can come in and shut the door. In other words, score early score often, score BIG! 3)It's been so long since Mrs. Black-N-Gold raised the Jolly Roger, she doesn't even know where it is.
