Let's play two! Your Pittsburgh Pirates open a crucial 3-game series this afternoon against the Chicago Scrubs at Wrigley Field. These are your keys for today's game. 1)Following yesterday's 4-2 loss to Philly, the Pirates are 0-13 when trailing after 7 innings. They've also only managed 2 runs in their last 2 games. I don't know if anyone told the Pirates this, but that's not how you win ball games. Score early, score often, score BIG, Hit, Run, & Score! 2)This is a big series in Chicago, the Scrubs seem to have found the Bucs number this year. Our Buccos need to make up some ground 'cause it's getting late early (to quote the great Yogi Berra). The Pirates have dropped 2 straight and are sinking fast, all the way down to 4th place in the NL Central. Right the ship and raise the Jolly Roger! 3)The Pirates start LH Jeff Locke, 2-2, 4.71 ERA. Chicago goes with RH Kyle Hendricks, 0-1, 4.65 ERA. Locke down a win! Let's Go Bucs!!!!!
