THE BULLPEN

     I have seen enough to know I have seen too much! Happy Pirates and Pigskins Day! Our Pittsburgh Pirates close out their season this afternoon in St Louie when the face they Cardinals. These are your keys for today's matinee. 1)The Bucs bullpen could not preserve a 3-run lead yesterday as the Pirates fell to St Louie 4-3. The bullpen has been mostly bull crap all season and yesterday was no different. This is an area Mrs. Black-N-Gold would like them to work on before next season. You got to know when to hold 'em! 2)The Pirates have not done a good job as spoilers this weekend, dropping the 1st 2 games of this series. St Louie is 1 game out of the wild card with 1 to play. Wouldn't it be fun to ruin St Louie's playoff hopes? Go out with a bang, not a whimper! 3)As has always been the tradition here, in The Bullpen, you've got to put more runs on the board than your opponents.
