It was last Saturday night against Cincy at PNC. A.J. struck out a season-high 12 batters over 7 innings en route to a 4-2 victory. Mow 'em down, A.J.! Woop, woop, woop! Standings Alert! The Pirates were idle yesterday as were St Louie and Cincy. Both the Bucs and Cincy lost on Wednesday while St Louie won. St Louie's magic number to win the NL Central is 1. The Pirates are 3 games out and Cincy is 4 back. In the season series with Cincy, we're tied at 8 games each.
