SLAP SHOTS

Scractch my back with a hacksaw, it's a great day for hockey! Your Pittsburgh Penguins take their show on the road to Philly tonight to face the Cryers. These are your keys to tonight's game. 1)Following Sunday's 5-2 pasting at the hands of the Strangers, the Pens have dropped 2 in a row and are a paltry 4-5-1 in their last 10 games. The Pens have had problems with potential playoff opponents in recent years.  Philly is no exception having lost 6 straight to the Cryers. Come out swinging, dictate the tempo of the game, get out of this phunk. Score early, score often, score BIG! 2)Philly's penalty kill is a putrid 73.4%, good for 30th in the league. Hopefully this will help the Pens kickstart the power play which has fallen to 5th in the NHL at 23.4%. Take advantage of the man-advantage! 3)The Cryers goals against average, 23rd overall at 2.9 per game may help pick up the Pens offense. Still ranked at #5 with 3.0 per game, the Pens need to find the net. Break out the Goals, Goals, Goals! Let's Go Pens!!!
