THE BULLPEN

Firecracker, firecracker, boom, boom, boom! Happy Independence Day one and all! Your Pittsburgh Pirates look to explode as they begin a 3 game series today against the Philadelphia Sillies. These are your keys to today's game. 1)The Pirates look to right the ship after failing to complete the sweep in last night's 10-2 loss to Arizona. Philly has been held scoreless 11 times this season. Score early, score often, score BIG! 2)The Pirates send RH Gerrit Cole, 6-4, 4.02 ERA, to the mound. The Cole Train tries to get back on track. In his return start from the DL, he gave up 5 earned runs, walking 3, in 4 innings pitched. All aboard the Cole Train! 3)Philly will start RH Roberto Hernandez, 3-7, 4.26 ERA. In his last 8 starts, Hernandez is 1-6 with a 4.50 ERA. Bring a big bowl of Hit, Run & Score to the party! Let's Go Bucs!!!!!
