Eric was born in northern California in San Mateo in 1969. At an early age, he began playing both guitar and bass. By age 15 he was gigging with bands in his area. He made the move to New Orleans to find his sound in 1999, by way of New York City.

He signed with blues label, Alligator Records in 2006 with his debut, "Change In the Weather". Along the way, Eric has jammed with the likes of the Neville Brothers, Galactic and Dragon Smoke, among others. He has also played the world-famous New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Eric has been able to break out of the regional mold by touring across the United States as well as Europe and Australia. He even managed to work an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien into his busy schedule.

His latest release is from Eric Lindell & Co. "Indian Summer" is available on Eric's own Sparco Records.
